Popup Killer Lite is a free pop-up killer from Hitware. It runs in the system tray and quickly and quietly eliminates the unwanted pop-up and pop-under ads even before they appear. It prevents pop-up ads from locking up your browser with multiple windows opening. You can choose to be notified via animated tray icon and/ or sound whenever a popup window is closed.

Overall

Hitware's pop-up killer works well and is effective with most popups. It is a free program that packs a punch comparable to many of the expensive programs. Hitware also has a paid version of this program, but it has extra features to it that you may not need. Be sure to get Pop-up Killer LITE, it's a great program AND it's free.
