Mozilla has a browser called 'Firefox'. It is the fastest growing web browser on the internet, and many people
switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox. It recently has built a partnership with Google, primarily because
both Google and Mozilla are competing with Microsoft. But Firefox has revolutionized many area's of using the
internet and only recently has Microsoft come out with a version of Internet Explorer that can legitimately
compete with Firefox.
About Firefox
There are clear reasons why Firefox is the fastest growing browser on the internet. It is arguably the best web
browser that there is. It supports just about all web technologies and it's user interface and security are
second to none. Plus, viewers of this site will love to hear that Firefox has one of the best internet popup
blockers available.
Pros
-Very secure and has a great popup blocker
-Portable with and easy installation. Only about 4 megabyte download.
-Easy to use, great interface
-Automatic and quick updates for the browser.
-Firefox has 'Session Restore'. Brings you back to the last thing you were looking at.
-It's just a beautiful thing!
Cons
-We need to have at least one Con, so let's just tell you that not all websites will look like they do
in Internet Explorer. Most websites are still programmed primarily for IE.
Final Thoughts
Firefox has a built in search bar, plus its own popup blocking ability. But it does not have a built in Google
toolbar like some would think. It is recommended that you install the Google toolbar along with Firefox to
maximize your popup blocking abilities.
You can easily download Firefox for free, for just about any operating system by going to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/. It's a quick download and install and shouldn't take you more that a few minutes.
